I got my shipment from amazon.com today! I was a little worried, because my UCSD pick-up slip said my first name was “Andrew,” but someone on staff just screwed up and I got my package without a hitch. 🙂 Oh yeah.

So, the reason I am elated is due to the fact that I got White Limosine (by Duncan Sheik) and When Love Speaks. The first one … well, I just enjoy Duncan’s music immensely. The second is even more exciting. I’ve been eyeing this compilation for a while. To quote the slipcover, it is:

“A selection of William Shakespeare’s much-loved sonnets, read by some of the world’s finest actors, together with musical settings of passages from his sonnets and plays.” etc.

These include: Kenneth Branagh, Joseph Fiennes, Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman … and Rufus Wainwright!

Okay, enough with the bantering. I bring you:
Alan Rickman’s reading of Sonnet 130 (My mistress’ eyes are nothing like the sun)

If you want more for V-Day … well, this can be arranged. Cheers, I’m not dead from too many midterms!
